A number of new features have recently been introduced including compatibility with TraderLink, AutoTrader export status icons, custom text which enables you to individually customise the description displayed on your website, silent salesman, trade, AutoTrader and other websites, many new system fields and a field labelling key. The system now enables you to propagate vehicle details from a vehicle registration.
This feature is greatly enhanced when used in conjunction with CAP data to generate a detailed description. This part of the data is subject to a CAP license fee of ?25 per month per dealership. This system is designed to work with the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. It is not designed and tested for use with an AOL browser (please use at own risk). The system does not currentley support Mozilla / Netscape / Firefox due to the inherent way form elements are handled. JavaScript must be enabled in your browsers settings.
Important Note on Screen Resolution: Due to the ever increasing number of features and functions, the interface has been redesigned for viewing at 1024 x 768 and higher. The system no longer supports 800 x 600. Important Note on Cookies: The system requires cookies in order to remember who you are. If system keeps returning to the login screen or reports that you may be a new user, then disabled cookies is the most probable cause. Important Note on Popup Blockers / Ad Zappers: With a need for browser security, users with active popup blockers either knowingly or unknowingly installed, is becoming an increasing problem. Steps have been taken to reduce the systems reliance on popups, but they are still required for full functionality. If a popup blocker is actively blocking parts of the system, please disable or uninstall it. Important Note on Firewall / Internet Security Software: Badly configured security software can also affect the 2 points above. If you start to experience problems with the system post installation or modification of settings, please reverse the changes. Important Note on Browser Cache: A full browser cache can stop the system functioning correctly and should be periodically cleared. Important Note on Viruses: Viruses can affect your computers browser and cause the system to stop working correctly. Please ensure that you have an up to date scanner installed. Dealing with Problems: The system is successfully used to update 100?s of sites every week. If you experience a problem with a fundamental operation of the system, it is probably an isolated issue with your computer.
